Actually these shots were taken AFTER I repaired it.

question: why butterfly? there's tonsa other easy bugs you coulda chosen.

It was complicated at first. Well mainly the wings, cause I thought it had two instead of four of them...for some weird reason.
True. To be honest, I'm not positively sure why I choosed the butterfly. The fact that it had to be gigantic (ish) and be able to stand on its own legs might have to do with it. Or possibly because the details in its wings would prove to be a bigger challenge. Also, we were shown some example of previous student works, and I didn't really want to copy some of the bugs that were shown (like the dragonfly, a grasshopper, a bee etc). Which bug would you have done if you had to do this?
...and now that I think of structure and all, I wonder how my friend did with making her flea stand up...
but at least it looks perdy ^^
